Who do you believe is doing a good job of this?

I also think you could be primed to do this as well - you have such a large network of working professionals through Hot Rod, you could easily kind of follow a similar path of a flagship long-form podcast about the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking that ties into shorter content highlighting specific pieces of gear. Maybe a second format where you help cinematographers level up by exploring their most recent work and helping to uncover a path forward. And then there are other synergistic ways you could take the same content off-platform into live events, email, audio, etc.

Hey Illya! My favorite example right now, because I've been watching, reading, experiencing lot of their stuff recently, is Colin and Samir. They have their flagship longform podcast series where they interview creators, which like many podcasts is clipped into shorts. But they've gone beyond that to make a new channel called Creator Support, where they take those connections and experience to apply practical advice to help solve a specific creator's problems. That channel also has shorts that focus on answering a single question or solving one specific problem. And then, they recently expanded into a live event called Press Publish NYC that happened a few weeks ago, with similar on-stage interviews, workshops, etc. And then of course they now have their course offering. It all ties together so well and just fits with the Colin and Samir brand that they've built over the years.

Interesting. Anyone else you think is doing a good job of this who is a small creator and either hasn't seen results or is just starting to?

I've noticed several big creators a la Colin & Samir adopting a consistent hub and spoke reframing message across all social media, but that only really seems to happen after building a following some place specific, or a fair bit of early previous viral success.

In the filmmaking space - someone who isn't a massive creator that I think has done this pretty well and did it early on is Patrick O'Sullivan aka The Wandering DP. He again started with a flagship podcast format, and then built on that with his sort of "over-his-shoulder" style lighting breakdowns on YouTube. And that moved into short Q&A style videos and his courses, etc.
